HOW DOES IT WORK?
Louise deals with the whole application process and lets you get on with running your business.
First of all you need to decide which UKAS Certification body you wish to apply to. Louise recommends British Assessment Bureau. You then need to pay this fee to the accreditation body.
Louise will talk with you about the process, including the site audit (usually two) that take place. Louise can attend these audits with you.
Usually the first audit is a fact finding audit by the certification body. They will provide you with a report which will give you information on your major and minor non-compliances to enable you to complete this work (usually within a maximum timeframe of 12 weeks).
At the stage two audit, you will be expected to demonstrate that you have closed out your non-compliances.
Louise can assist you with this.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost will depend on the size and complexity of your business and what needs to be implemented to comply with the accreditation application process. Louise will discuss this with you and provide a detailed proposal for you to consider.
Please note you will also have to pay the awarding bodies’ accreditation fees. These costs can be found on their websites.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
When you accept your proposal, Louise will let you know the next available slot for the work to be completed.
Please note that Louise has no influence over the timescales from the accreditation bodies, and this will depend on the waiting lists they have for assessment at that particular point in time.
Why Get Accredited?
ISO standards are an excellent management tool to continuously improve your business. In addition potential and existing clients will see that you wish to demonstrate a compliant business that wants to excel.

GREAT CLIENT FEEDBACK
One of the best marketing tools for a small business is first class feedback from happy business owners, however, word of mouth referral is how I obtain 90% of my client base. And I think that speaks volumes.
Louise has been working with us since March 2013. Louise has helped us with numerous tasks including health and safety, business development and achieving accreditations. We asked Louise to work with us on a retainer basis to keep us on track to achieve our targets within our business plan. We’d like to thank Louise at Positive About Business for helping DVI Technologies Ltd achieve ISO9001 accreditation. First-class service as usual. We have now engaged Louise to help us achieve ISO14001 and ISO27001. We have also asked Louise to project manage one of our very busy client contracts and our subcontractor team administration. Even when not in the office, Louise is always on the other end of the phone if we just quickly need some advice. We can highly recommend Louise to assist businesses as it has been beneficial to our company.
